2nd place was best i could do yesterday. Loss of £300. Wasn't going to bother this afternoon til Soapy Danger went out to 11/4 on betfair so i had £100 traded back at 1.2
Have you joined all betting sites ... you know what i mean VICTOR CHANDLER BET365 etc etc ?
The reason i ask is because with your style of punting you would be able to pick up about a thousand pounds in free bets no problem. I mean for instance a lot of sites mtach your bet up to a £100 which is what you bet so you would qualify for the maximum in free bets and more importantly you can log on to Sportinglife.com every day and check latest odds and be able to steal a good price on whatever horse you are going to back and sometimes as i have done you can catch the enemy napping and have a nice trixie at big prices.
You may already have done this. I will explain my punting strategy every day and that is wait until 1000hrs when all the firms start pricing up and find a couple of horses i fance and then do a double at best odds on two of them as well as maybe a trixie.
Foe example i quite like betting at tracks like Dundalk as all you have to do is check the last few runs of a horse you fance and also the price and wait till one sticks his head up to high so as to speak and then i chop it off so as to speak. It does not always work but heh i like value as nothing peevs me off more than to be backing a horse after the money has all been put on and the price is false.
I have accounts with all the bookies on the comparison sites. I originally only started opening accounts to get all the matched bets find a horse or team that could be layed on betfair at same price and get money for nothing. i realised that profits are there by getting the stand out prices from certain bookie/ stable combinations after reading one of my husbands books on the subject. It has worked very well in that i have been playing with bookies money since my first week. Dave Nevison also explains value in his book better than anyone else i have heard.
Just a little old housewife trying to make a few bob. It's not easy doing housework, school run, shopping, etc. I get some funny looks from other mums sitting at school gates reading Racing Post. Having a bet is what i enjoy laying back in running especially football goes against my nature but sometimes is the proper thing to do.

Hi Mark,

Happy punting,
